We ride at a pace that ensures that the group stays together
No one will be left behind
The group has been running since June 2017 with the aim of helping with our cycling skills and maintain or improving our health & fitness whilst having fun and enjoying ourselves on our bikes.
Some of our members prefer the traffic free rides along the Trans Pennine Trail (TPT), whilst others enjoyed going a little further afield and exploring little known or used routes.
To accommodate these different preferences the group runs two different lengths of ride on different days.
On the 2nd Tuesday of the month we venture further afield, completing anywhere up to 40 miles, dependent upon weather, terrain, etc., around the country lanes of North Cheshire.
On the 4th Thursday of each month we stay a little closer to home and cover around 12 to 15 miles on the TPT and quiet country lanes.
On both of our rides we will have a cafe stop at around the halfway point for us to refuel, relax and have a chat.
Ride details will appear in the events list and on our Facebook events page, they will also be forwarded to members who have registered with the group.
Rides tend to start from the Trans Pennine Trail Ranger Station on Statham Avenue, Lymm, but we do occasionally start from other locations around the Lymm and Thelwall area.
Starting from the TPT Ranger Station gives members who live further away the opportunity to travel by car and park there if they wish to do so.
