Lymm and Thelwall u3a is a friendly local group, part of the national charitable u3a organisation, aimed at people no longer in full-time employment.
We offer a variety of activities where members enjoy shared interests and learning opportunities in a supportive and sociable atmosphere.
Our u3a members draw upon their knowledge and experience to support and learn from each other for pleasure.
Our Membership is approximately 380

We are local friendly, low cost and open to all.
You are welcome to join even if you live outside Lymm and Thelwall.
Interest Groups are the key to our u3a.
We hope you find something that interests you and that you would like to become involved with.
We always welcome new ideas for interest groups.

Membership subscription is £10 for our 2025-26 Membership year from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026
Members’ Meetings

These are for all members and are usually held at Thelwall Parish Hall on the third Thursday of each month, (except August and December).
The meeting starts at 10.a.m. when members can have refreshments and socialise.
At 10.30 a.m. we open the meeting with updates for members and then we settle down for an interesting talk from a visiting speaker.
Visitors are welcome to attend a couple of meetings before joining our u3a.
